About Placement and Training Cell

The Placement and Training cell provides complete support to the visiting schools at every stage of placement process. Arrangements for Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Interviews and Group Discussions are made as per the requirements of the visiting schools. A number of programs are organized by the cell to prepare the students for the interviews. On and off campus interviews are arranged for the student teachers to facilitate placement at various schools.

To achieve hundred percent placement for student teachers through dedication, attitude and complete involvement and by arranging and coordinating various programmes that aim at molding the student teachers so as to meet the expectations in career building and in turn bring glory to the institution.

Objectives of Placement Cell

• To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.
• Maintaining and regularly updating database of students. Maintaining database of companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitments.
• Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements.
• Coordinating with schools to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures.
• Identifying the needs and expectations of the schools to assist them in recruiting most suitable candidates.
• Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for student teachers.
• To provide ample opportunities for placement of Student teachers to achieve 100 percent placements.
• To organize campus recruitment for the students with schools of repute from all over India.
• To prepare students for campus recruitment arranging training in aptitude tests, group discussions, preparing for technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.
• To promote career counseling by organizing guest speakers
• Tie-up arrangements with schools of repute for Campus recruitment.
• Create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives and act as a bridge between students and employers.
